I'm running into an issue trying to recover a RAR file which I accidentally deleted from a Network Drive (was running as a NAS, I've hooked it up directly to try and recover things). Actually I don't remember deleting the file but think it disappeared on me somehow when I cancelled a Cut and Paste(was doing heaps of stuff at once, so don't know exactly what happened).
In any case when I first ran Recuva it wasn't in the Directory I was expecting, after several goes I eventually found what appears to be the right file. Its the right size and looking at the Header tab shows its an RAR file, but it has no filename and shows up in directory F:\?\. Basically whenever I try and recover the file the recovery fails, saying that the system cannot find the path specified. I'm assuming that this is something to do with the lack of filename and directory? Anyone have a workaround for this?
Any help would be great.
