I just upgraded and ran the Pro version and now I can’t print. The printer is still showing as being there on my computer, I’ve run the printer trouble shooter and it couldn’t detect a problem, I’ve unplugged it and plugged it in and I’ve been on the Brother website and updated the drivers from there but it still won’t print. Any ideas why? Thanks.
My first guess is they the 'newest" version of your Brother driver does not suit your printer/computer.
(It happens, new driver versions get released that don’t support, or don’t fully support, older hardware).
In which case you need an older driver and not the newest).
If you used CCleaners Software Updater then open it again from the side menu and try the “+ Fix a problem” button to see if it can roll the driver back for you.
