Retrieved a power point file and says it needs a text converter. Did the program become corrupt in the transfer? It said that the file was in good condition before transfer. Is there a work around or another program to extract any data from this file? I think that recuva just couldn't handle the process well.
Do any of the things suggested here help at all?

Thanks for the link but none of that worked. Everything looked good in Recuva the file recovered normally to C:. The problem is when I try to open it ppt doesn't recognize the program. I don't know if Recuva converted the file type to something else. To make matters worse thinking the file was recovered I copied it to the flash drive and gave it to the person that accidentally deleted the file over writing the deleted file with the corrupt one. I guess its game over now and no other program can recover it.
