Please Help - Cleaner broke icon previews and slow explorer

Hi There,

I really hope someone can help.

I ran CC cleaner on win 8.1 and it broke the icon images and image thumbnails. Windows explorer is also very slow and unresponsive.

I have search the net for 3 days and tried almost every possible solution but to no avail.

When you say broke, what do you mean? Does it just put generic icons there instead?

I take it you have tried resetting your icon cache?

Did you run the registry clean part of CCleaner?
