places.sqlite contains history?

Hi,

I'm really not very technically minded but I've always trusted ccleaner to completely delete search history. However, now I've viewed places.sqlite (using notepad..!) and it shows a list of domain names accessed through firefox which I assumed ccleaner was deleting.

I was wondering, could anyone tell me if ccleaner can be configured to delete the entries in this?

Also, I'd be grateful for any advice anyone could give on any other traces of history that ccleaner doesn't deal with. Then I suppose I could deal with them manually.

If you have any cookies saved, they wont be vaccumed from places.sqlite. Make sure you have compact databases selected in CCleaner.
