Performance Optimizer

Hi,

I just tried the "Performance Optimizer" section of CCleaner, and I am getting a strange result from the scan.

It is listing "Microsoft OneDrive" as a program that can be put into sleep mode; but I do not have "One Drive" installed.

I thought I un-installed it some time ago. It is not listed in my app section, and is nowhere to be found. Why is CCleaner telling me I have it?

You have windows 10 or 11, onedrive is built-in. if you don't use it try putting it to sleep

Onedrive is a funny beast.

Even after uninstalling it so that it won't sync to the cloud you still have a local Ondrive folder in your user profile and some scheduled tasks for it including a Startup task.

CCleaner Performance Optimise can put those scheduled tasks to sleep for you.

Here's mine in Task Manage'rs Startup tab, Onedrive was uninstalled long ago, the startup task is still there but I knew about it and disabled it myself - CCleaner just does that disabling for you (if you tell it to).
