Performance Optimizer start failed

If I try to start the Perfomance Optimizer an error message occurs like

"something went wrong - the service necessary for this funktion could not be excecuted"

(my translation from German to English - sorry if it's not correct"

Any idea how to solve the problem?

it sounds like you have somehow disabled the "CCleanerPerformanceOptimizerService."

try re-enabling the "CCleanerPerformanceOptimizerService" service and see if that resolves the problem.

Thank you redwolfe_98

Please can you help how to enable the mentioned service?

I didn't find an entry in autostart. There was only one deactivated entry for "C:\Program Files\CCleaner\CCleaner64.exe" /MONITOR

Should I de-install CCleaner and re-install it?

yes, i think that would be a good idea.

the "CCleanerPerformanceOptimizerService" service is a "service" so you should see it listed along with the other "services."

"CCleanerPerformanceOptimizerService" should be set to "manual" start.

Problem was solved by uninstall and re-install CCleaner
