Pages not displaying correctly in CCleaner Browser

Hi - can anyone help me? I’ve used CCleaner Browser without problems for ages, but this week it’s failing to display pages correctly:

  1. Pages where I need to enter data in boxes (logins, address details, answers to questions) are misaligned so the cursor needs to be some considerable distance from the box and what I type doesn’t show in it - really frustrating as that way I can’t see any mistakes in my typing. This also affects anything where I have to click on a box or radio button, such as the ‘ask the community’ link at the top of this page!
  2. Lines of text on pages are displaying on top of each other, or only the top half of each character is showing, as though there is something wrong with what we used to know as ledding. This makes a lot of pages utterly unreadable.

The problem is very recent. I’ve checked screen resolution and magnification, both look okay. Pages display fine in Edge (I’m reduced to sending this message that way) but - perhaps relevant? - the same problem happens in Firefox.

I’m running Windows 10 on a 32-bit system (yes, I know!) and am definitely not tech minded so if you know how to fix it, please Explain Like I’m Five (or like I’m 95!)

The ‘about’ page tells me that I’m up to date and am running Version 136.0.30456.115 (Official Build) (32-bit)

Thanks in advance for your knowledge and patience,
