I would like to know if I need to run the restored on the pc I formatted my SD Card. Because I tried on another PC and I couldn't find the files I needed.
In short no there is no difference what pc you do recovery of a sd card.
In a little longer, like ssds, sd cards are flash memory. And thus more difficult to recover from.
I'm sure someone will come by with a more verbos and informed post, but your question was is there a difference and there isn't.
