Options Monitoring page unresponsive

I have CCleaner Pro x64 V.5.16.5551 installed, and it basically (nearly) always does what it's supposed to. However, the page for Options Monitoring (please see the attached screen capture) is totally unresponsive to mouse clicks, either for the checkboxes or for the drop-down listboxes. (The other pages all seem to work OK.) How can I correct this (non-)behavior? Thanks very much.

Have you tried re-installing Ccleaner over the top of itself again to 'correct this behaviour?

Hi. Thanks for your suggestion.

I just realize that I should have pointed out that I am using the portable version (V.5.16.5551). However, analogously to your suggestion, I did re-download the latest portable ZIP file and then I copied its files over the files I had been using, but the result is unfortunately still the same.

Perhpas now is the time to exercise your right as a Pro using of Ccleaner and get help from Piriform directly.

Portable version has Monitoring disabled from my knowledge (it's completely disabled on WinXP and Win10 when I checked), i.e.; it's unusable and isn't necessary in a portable environment/scenario where it isn't necessary. To use Monitoring use the install version.

This is the case afaik as well

OK, intuitively that might make some sense. However, according to the GUI (please see the screen cap in my original post), there is "some" monitoring taking place (if the GUI is reporting correctly), but it cannot be modified (including turning on more monitoring, but also including turning it off). Oh well...

Thanks for your input.

If you want it completely off when using portable you may need to reset the settings in CCleaner Portable ('Options > Advanced > Restore Default Settings), or when CCleaner Portable isn't running delete the ccleaner.ini file.

If I'm remember correctly and I don't know if I actually am I think Monitoring could briefly be used in the portable version before they disabled that ability - again I could be remembering this wrong. If I'm correct that may be why it's partially enabled for you and why you can't disable it or change any settings.
