Hello. Just playing around with the Opera browser.
Any suggestions on which widgets, extensions, etc. are good for this browser? Any good tweaks for customizing, making it more usable, etc.?
Any hints or tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

A security tweak:
Run Spybot-S&D, then click Immunize, then select Opera to stop some bad plugins.
Theres is a setting somewhere in opera that will make it load already opened pages from the cache every time. It won't even check the page each time to see if its changed.(this is enabled by default) I always turn it off(set it to always) because if you don't then say if your on a forum you wont see if new posts were made, ect. Thats about the only thing I change besides rearranging the toolbars.
There are hundreds of Custom Buttons you can add to Opera. I personally have 21 that I have added. Here are some links to the sites. All you have to do is click on the button and than confirm when it asks and it will be added to your "My Buttons" area of the customize diolog. You can also simply drag the button right from the site to the tool bar if you want.

You can also make your on buttons with this tool.
You have to visit these links with Opera for it to work. It's all done on line.
You use Opera rridgely? I thought you used FF or... do you use bothTheres is a setting somewhere in opera that will make it load already opened pages from the cache every time. I've tried Opera a few times during last year and grew down on it for some reason
I use firefox 1.5 but I did use opera exclusivly for a few weeks not that long ago.(like a month ago)
Its not a bad browser, but I'm just so used to FF now that it was hard to make the switch.
