Where can you download the latest build? I don't see a link to it on the Opera Desktop Blog, the Opera Beta page, or the Opera forums. Also, the build-in updater never picks up on new builds. Link please!
Are you sure? I checked it right now and they had the latest build: http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/ Here's a direct download link to it: http://snapshot.opera.com/windows/o100s_1651m.exe
I was looking at the blog where they posted the last build (1642): http://my.opera.com/chooseopera/blog. Thanks for the link!

even opera website itself has opera beta 2 (1642)

Icedrake already posted a direct link from Opera's site above....
you guys thins this new version is using too much memory?
All of the Opera 10 Beta versions have been using too much memory for me, and they've been sluggish for me (the program itself not the internet), which is why I switched back to good ol' Chromium. Works great!
well is fast for me,,,but when i look at task manager and the resourses taken,,
Ice chromiun is different from sware iron?..,'cause i couldn't find a site to download it.
Yeah it's different than SrWare Iron. Here's the download link: http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/snapsho...rel-xp/?C=N;O=D Download the latest build and install it. It also doesn't have any of the privacy issues like Chrome.
well just tried..it uses less resources,,but ad-muncher don't work with it,,have a lot of popouts with it..
is not as fast as opera..
I find it faster than Opera for some reason. Weird. Use AdSweep with it to block ads: www.adsweep.org

Opera 10.00 Build 1691 Beta
Got it, thanks!
Is it just me, or does performance seem to vary from build to build? Build 1651 seemed very fast, but 1679 didn't seem near as fast to me. Now that 1691 has been released, it seems very snappy again. What's up with that?
what about memory consuming?..i haven't tried this version yet..
It's currently consuming 34MB, but I've never seen a peak usage over 80MB.
