Open CCleaner and it instantly closes [fixed]

Every time I try to open ccleaner it opens then immediately shuts down.

How can I fix it?

It is a bug that has been fixed, you need to update your CCleaner to version 5.89.9401.

Hate to rake this up again, but it is doing what the OP describes after a very recent update. Obviously I can't give the version number ...

UPDATE: Now working OK. After the notification (bottom-left) appeared I was able to run CCleaner. I think it may have been a dialog opened from the install process that was left open (although I had just done a fresh reboot).
