Running windows 7 pro, 64-bit. Checked for viruses - none. Finding that ccleaner, which used to perform well is now hourglassing for a long long long time. I can switch off cleaner "tab" to registry or tools, and those work fine. Switching back to Cleaner it's still hourglassing. Wait LONG enough and it clears itself. What's up?
What's your version of CC?
Do you use any other CC enhancing software or winapp2.ini file?
AV software?
Run CC with the PC in Safe Mode and see if it still hour glasses.
I too have been having prolonged "analyse" runs. I've been using your free version for a couple years without any sort of delay.. until recently, perhaps the last three weeks or so. The only change that I've made to my system has been to install AVG PC TuneUp 2015. All my AV software remains unchanged for approximately six months (when I was having zero hanging or very long delay).

I am hanging on Temp files, which sometimes shows as ..C:\Windows\temp\CLDigitalHomeCLDigitalHome\PCMMediaServer.log which my Premium Malwarebytes and numerous other programs is not detecting anything about. From what I've read on the Malwarebytes forums it seems to be an Acer bloatware connectivity program which came installed on my Acer PC. I've had the PC since before 2012 and used your program, as I mentioned, without any problems for ages.
Could it involve a recent update to CCleaner? I run your program after every internet use which equates to two or three times per day. Thanks for your help!
