CCleaner works fine,but I have a question: When it finishes it's analysis,CCleaner says there are several hundred Megs of stuff that can be removed.However,when you run the cleaner,only a fraction of that amount is removed.Why?
It's a good idea to give a bit of info such as your operating system and version of ccleaner used
Are you a new user or has this just started?
What 'stuff ' is it not cleaning?
Are you making sure your browser is closed before you clean?
Check the second option under Options > Advanced

Sorry,I am using XP Home and the CCleaner Ver 2.33.1184
I have been using CCLeaner for about a year now. The program prompts you to close browsers if you haven't done so.
Under options-advanced is 'only delete windows temp folders older than 24 hours' ticked?
What items is it not cleaning?
