I checked "Old Prefetch data" but the PF-Files in C:\Windows\Prefetch are not deleted.
Please help me.
Only those older than 14 days are deleted.
you can manually delete them or use an INCLUDE but there is really no benefit.
there aren't many files in the prefetch folder, they don't use a lot of space and will be recreated when the program is used next.
Windows will also do some sort of housekeeping to the folder.
even uninstalled programs that have been prefetched should eventually fall off the list.
I used to manually delete them but gave up that futile exercise years ago.
The only other time I had to delete the folder was when an infected program got prefetched.
