I use pidgin for AIM/MSN, but I use the Windows Live for MSN now because its got webcam support ;)

I use Pigdin Portable for AIM. I like it. A lot less bloated!

That's a nice quick check, however the news ever so briefly this morning stated Conficker is now downloading and installing rogue/false antivirus apps onto computers.

You got a link to that news Andavari... I know a few days ago, they mentioned that any computer infected was receiving an updated exe file and instructions, but I haven't seen anything posted today about it :(

No I don't, it was on TV and I don't even know what channel I was watching. Maybe try CNN.com since I watch their news all the time.
