Is it supported, being further developed, or anything? Or is it just "out there" and noone is running the project? Just curious.
Its the continuation of Mozilla's Composer component of the former mozilla suite. Its open source and its primary backer is Linspire.(a paid linux distro)
So it is being developed but quite honestly its very good already.
AFAIK nothing has happened much with it. The last release: Nvu 1.0 - Released June 28th, 2005
It's good, but not great. I used it for a bit but discovered annoying bugs, so now use Visual Web Developer from MS.
Are you using the free express version or the expensive one? How do you like it?
I used the free version. Note past tense.
There was a simply annoying bug where I couldn't change the background colour of the cell. From this simple annoyance I had to move onto other editors.
Although it is free. I wouldn't actually recommend it based that no update seems in sight. Rather go with MS on this one for now...
