Hi, In my software updates there is a Nvidia App that is stuck and will not update, when i try to update it tells me an error has occured. I did a support ticket and did all the special files creation so you could see my environment and sent those files to you. This was two weeks ago and i have heard nothing back.
I have tried rebooting, i have tried closing the ccleaner app in task manager and rebooting but the Nvidia App will not go away and will not update. Also my Nvidia app is up to date, i checked it. So why is this stuck?
if not are you having the same issue I had on my old Laptop where I was on 11.0.5 and because my hardware no longer supported it was refused by error the update and CCleaner said it needed updating (CCleaner doesn’t look at compatibility in software and drivers, One reason I refuse to use driver or software updaters in general and CCleaner’s in particular).
Well i was wrong, i thought it was already updated but i checked the app and its still the old version. It was the drivers i was looking at before and they are updated, but the app is not.
Hi, thanks for that information, now i think i understand why its stuck in cCleaner. My system is not supported. When i tried to update the app i got this.
Clicking on that link took me to a support notice that explains the issue. I will have to post that notice on a new reply as it wont let me do two images here.
So i guess it will remain stuck in cCleaner until cCleaner releases and update to remove it OR Nvidia releases a security update, then i will be able to update it. I really appreciate your help on this, you have been awesome. Thank you so very much
