After my license has expired, I keep getting a notification in the bottom right corner of my desktop, with a 20% off deal. It that takes up a lot of space and stays on top of everything, making it impossible to have a fullscreen window open.
How do I remove this god damn annoying shit?
Why is it, that just because I haven’t renewed my license, that you guys feel you can kidnap my screenspace?
By default the ad should disappear on its own if you don’t mouse over it. There is an icon at the top of the ad that looks like a thumbtack click it and the ad should fade in a few seconds (as long as the mouse cursor isn’t hovering on the popup.
As for why, you can’t really fault a company for trying to entice and attempting to keep past customers on a subscription product. That’s how the virtual economy works now.
That’s how it used to work, but no matter what I do, the notification stays there. I can make it disappear, if I shut down the program, but thats stupid.
And I get that they want costumers to pay and I am ok with there being a notification. The issue is, this notification stays, and it is on top of everything else, so basically, they are kidnapping my monitor as their own personal ad space.
