Not getting 'New thread/topic' notifications

I've noticed this problem since the forum upgrade. I had the old forum set to notify me via email of new threads in the 'Announcements' section of the forum, that way I got notification of new releases, important announcements etc. But since the upgrade this is no longer happening. I've tried un-following and re-following the announcements section but to no avail. And in my forum settings the "Notification method to use for topics in followed forums" has the email box ticked.

I get notification of new posts in followed threads, but not new thread notifications in followed forum sections

Forum bug or just me?

I am subscribed to several threads, but I also dont get notifications. Not sure if I have to reconfigure something.

Yes, as stated in my post ;)

Old notifictaions need to be reset (I get notified on anything I've posted in after the upgrade)

go to http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=followed

then click "edit options" then select all then change the notifier to the setting you want :)

It's not posts in threads I've posted in, it's forum sub sections I follow, eg, go to the announcements sub-forum and click "Follow this forum" in the top right. You should then be notified of all new threads in that sub-forum, this isn't working.

(PS Anyone else also can't right click>paste in reply boxes on the forum in Firefox?)

JD to right-click paste in a reply box is an Invision software issue I think.

I do it in Opera by moving the space bar once and then right click paste on the flashing curser.

Yeah the new ipboard seems to break browsers and each brand differently The Rich Text makes it so my WebOS Browser (Webkit based) can't paste or copy (done with a touch and hold) and when I'm terrestrial have to switch back and forth between compatibility and non compatibility in IE

Still not getting new thread notifications. New version of CCleaner today, never got notification of the post in the announcements thread, same with the Speccy release the other day :unsure:
