That is exactly the message I get if I try to recover files from my Micro SD Card. The problem is that I accidentally deleted videos and pictures from my action cam's memory card. Since then I haven't taken any pictures or videos on that memory card. So I found widely recommended Recuva and tried to use it to get the files back. To my disappointment it detected 0 files, but gave me this message "12 files were actually found but none of them matches to the filter". Here is were my mind stops. What does this message mean? And how it is possible that Recuva can't recover none of the files? I don't want just to leave it cause the files were really important to me.
Don't put the filter in (especially before a scan) as a lot of times a extensions or name may be garbled and so it may not show
Hi, I have exactly the same problem. I did not set set any filter though. So I do not understand why I keep receiving this message.
I attach the screenshot of the message I get.
You say tou don't have any filters but the screenshot shows you have a filter of d\ntfs
Try the scan without a filter
