I have been asked to renew my subscription by no-reply@e.cleverbridge.com ,although it is not due until the 6th Oct 2025

They do ask early.
(56 days/8 weeks seems to be the current trend for most types of subscription renewal reminders for anything).
If you do renew the existing licence then any time remaining should get added automatically to the renewal.
Or you could simply wait until nearer the due date.
