I ran ccleaner and reg cleaner. After doing so, my outlok emails no longer show pictures. The security check id NOT in place which prohibits the viewing of pic in an email.
Additionally, it seems that my Shoutcast in Win 7 Media Player mostly no longer works.
I restored the registry backup and nothing changed.
Anyone have any ideas?
Lucky for me I just had this occur.
This happens when a cleaner (in your case ccleaner in my case the program I use to remove my internet traces) incorrectly removes the internet cache.
Previously I would have suggested restarting the machine to fix this (which it does)
however I have recently learned that if I open internet explorer and run "Delete Browsing History" and only select* "temporary internet files" and don't have "preserve favorites website data"* that it works everytime.
*check box in ie8 button in ie7 not sure ie6 (upgrade to ie7)

EDIT: I hadn't had this issue for a while, then after this past batch on MSupdates, or maybe the out of cycle Kernal patch, it began to occur quite regularly
Thanks for the tip. I noticed today that the problem was resolved. I received the latest MS updates last night and my PC rebooted itself as it was supposed to. Guess that fixed it! Thanks again.
