No option for removing duplicate files

I can’t find the option for removing duplicate files. Help is appreciated.

It is now under ‘Disc Analyzer’ for some unfathomable reason, however- Be Very, Very, careful if you use it.

It will by default find all duplicates of System and Application files, you don’t have the choice to filter then out of the scan.
If you then ‘Batch Select’ everything that it has found and delete the duplicates you computer and/or your apps may (Most Likely Will) stop working properly until you can put those duplicates back.

Posts have already been made here about it happening to unwary users.

If you are lucky then running DISM and SFC will put the system file duplicates back, (without you having to reinstall Windows).

If you are having problems with any particular apps then you may need to repair/reinstall them, depending on if the app has a repair option or not.

(We always got a few posts each year from people who had deleted their system file duplicates by mistake.
However in CCleaner 7 the lack of being able to ignore them combined with the new ‘Batch select’ makes it much easier to do, and in my opinion as it stands the new duplicate finder is simply a problem waiting to catch the unwary).
