I remember several previous versions of defraggler offering a slim version where you didn't have to say no the toolbar or as it is now chrome. Does anyone know if piriform is going to bring this back? I see that CCleaner still has a slim version available without the toolbar but not defraggler.
There's no slim build, however you could instead use the Portable build if the 3rd party offer annoys you. It has no installer and is just a zip archive. It's on the Builds page:
So does that mean that Defraggler slim builds are now going to be discontinued for future versions, or is it just the regular delayed release?
@cookieeater: very good question, but no answer from PIRIFORM.
So six days later I also want to ask:
when does the new slim version of Defraggler v2.02 comes out?
I dunno either, but this is the 7th fracking time I have installed Google Chrome and its pissing me the f*** off...
I have nothing but respect for Piriform, i know the software is free and they get paid for "bundling", but I would REALLY rather donate then be stuck screwing around with google chrome every damn time I click next too fast, or more then once because a computer has a hiccup...
Defraggler Slim version is on the bottom of the page on the Builds page (link mentioned above).
Am I missing something or is there no direct link to the "builds" webpage from the product webpage? If I hadn't read about the "builds" page here, I wouldn't be able to find it.
Same for the other Piriform product webpages.

It's at the bottom of the individual product's download pages, as it always has been.
Ah-ha! I WAS missing something. Thanks.
Thank you Piriform, I wasn't sure if the slim version was a delayed release or if you were discontinuing with it, but I see it is back up.
