When using Speccy 1.02 I got the following issue:
I haven't installed any audio drivers yet and Speccy reported no audio hardware.
But this was a lie - just the Windows drivers were missing (unknown device in Windows device manager).
After the driver installation, Speccy found some audio hardware - magic :-(
It seems you rely only on Windows information and don't really look into hardware.
Other products are doing a better job there.
