I am 90 yeas old and not fluent in english. On 21/4 I purchased CCleaner and Recuva .I use a PC with Edge, Win 10 and GData antivirus. It is impossible to make download for both. By clicking on "downlaod" in the email received by cleverbridge a void windows opens with a rotating circle inside and no subsequent action. I have tried to find and answer by asking Google but with no result. Can you suggest me a solution or where I can find one? Many Thanks
@ottoceri: Try these links:
CCleaner: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download/standard
No result. Nothing has changed, void window appears with a circle turning in center.
As you say that you are not fluent in English could I ask what country you are in?
It may make a difference.
There is a problem at the moment with some countries using IP adresses that were originally issued to other countries.

I am in Milan, Italy.

I have tried but the result is always the same, Thanks
Have you tried downloading using a different browser?

As I have written i use Edge, Windows 10 (and Windows Live Mail 2016 as Client for the mail) and I am not capable of using Chrome or Mozilla taking the data from them.
You can try using Internet Explorer, it's already on your machine but you won't have a desktop icon for it.
Open the start menu and type: internet
That will find internet explorer for you and you can click it to use.

Are you saying that you cannot install Chrome or Firefox either?
As said above, it may be that your IP address is on a block list for downloads.
However if this is happening to you then you should get an error saying something like "This product is forbidden in your country".
Some internet service providers have acquired some IPs that were orignally allocated to Syria/Iran/Iraq/North Korea.
This can be a problem because some of these IP ranges are still being blocked from downloading certain software, or even visiting some sites.
It should get corrected in time, but at the moment I've seen a few forum posts from European users who are being affected.
See this thread:
To see if this is your problem then try visiting a few IP geolocation tools and seeing what country they say your IP is in.
Heres a couple of links:
As suggested I have tried download with Explorer the result is always the same. No notce saying my country is forbidden. Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are installed in my PC but I am not able to take "download" from the e-mail I received after purchase and address to one of them.

To make an experiment I have tried to download Team Viewer as other App but the result is the same as for CCleaner. So I am lost. Any suggestion on your part. Thanks Nukecad.
If other things are also being stopped from downloading then I see 4 possibilities.
- You internet provider has given you an IP that was orginaly from one of the 'banned' countries. Did you use the IPlocation tools I linked above to see what country they say you are in?
- Your antivirus is blocking the downloads, try turning it off and see if you can download then.
- There is something wrong with your browser, you could try resetting it. https://www.winhelponline.com/blog/reset-microsoft-edge-browser-defaults/
- You have a virus/malware on your computer that is blocking the downloads. We can point you where to get help if that's the case.
Many thanks nukecad for your assistance. I applied to Microsoft assistance and after various attempts they made a remote assistance and found that my system h as no more space and the way to proceed is through Store-search for programs-find your one-install.(in addition possibly uninstall programs of less importance)
The experiment has nots been made with CCleaner and I will try to do it by myself.
Good to hear you found the problem.
I'm still not clear what they were saying (translation problem?) but it sounds like your hard drive is/was full and there was no space to save other programmes (or much else).
Windows 10 itself takes a lot of disc space, and if you only have a small capacity drive it can mean there is not much left for files and other programmes.
I'd run the built in Disk Cleanup as a first step to clear out the operating system junk and see how much space you have saved.
You'll probably save enough that you can then install CCleaner to clear out some more junk that Disc Cleanup doesn't.
Uninstalling unused and unwanted programs would also help free up space.
In the end though it sounds as if you need to delete some old files to free up disc space, maybe copy them to external storage.
If you have video files they can take up a lot of space.
Of course the best way would be to install a hard drive with more capacity.
I will follow your precious suggestions. Tomorrow I will be out of home but if you are not compelled to close the case I will inform you of the results.
