I'm new here, so I thought I give this a shot. I've been using previous versions of CCleaner for awhile now and everything has been fine, up until recently. With the latest version released 1.39.502.

I went to CONTROL PANEL, when I try to open ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS I always get ERROR that crashes ADD/REMOVE programs. The error I get is:
"RUN A DLL AS A APP" then it says ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS has encountered an error and needs to close. Everything else is fine. I've searched and seached for a solution for this on the internet without luck, no one knows what causes or how to fix the error. Let me explain why I think this issue is realted to crap CCleaner. This program was the last program installed on all 3 of my machines. No other programs or applications have been added. 1 DESKTOP works OK, Just fine, but the other DESKTOP and LAPTOP get the ADD/REMOVE programs error.
I've tried scanning for viruses and spyware/malware like the internet says my computer is clean. Ran HIJACKTHIS and computer is clean. Tried uninstall of CCleaner, SYSTEM RESTORE to earlier DATES, fixing protected Windows files and nothing. /sfc scannow.
For some reason after I upgraded to the latest version my ADD/REMOVE programs has become corrupted with that error "RUN A DLL AS A APP" and then closes. I've tried all solutions and nothing. Like I said I have no viruses, no spyware, no other programs installed, these were the last updates installed on the 3 computers of mine. 1 DESKTOP is fine, but the other 2 are corrupted.
Now let me finish, why I think its CCleaner. So I went to try it out on a friends computer. His computer was running fine. Then I went and installed CCleaner 1.39.502 on his computer, then we ran it, checked advance options to clean out all the junk. It removed everything. 492.1 MB worth of garbage. Seemed OK, then went to restart the computer.
After restarting his computer we went to control panel, ADD/REMOVE programs and OMG, it was crashing. Same error "RUN A DLL AS A APP" error message then closes. He was so angry with me.
Tried to uninstall, and used system restore, even after still error with ADD/REMOVE programs. What do I do? Now I messed up his computer and 2 of my COMPUTERS I can't use add/remove programs. There is no solutions on the internet and I don't want to have to format the computers to have to fix this.
Now do you see why I think its this problem. They were last programs updated/installed on my machines, then when I went to go to a friends house it corrupted his ADD/REMOVE programs. And it was working fine, because I tested it before install, and after CCleaner it stopped working !!!! Something terrible is going on and system restore is not fixing it !!!!!
What do I do I'm in trouble.
My 1 DESKTOP it works perfectly fine, but the other 2 dont work and my friends now is screwed up because of me. We installed nothing else, no conflict-ions. Just CCleaner and we cleaned up all the JUNK then after ADD/REMOVE programs would not work.
Please has anyone else out there experienced this problem? I really need some help or input or someone to look into this. Go to your ADD/REMOVE programs and see if you get the ERROR message "RUN A DLL AS A APP" then it crashes and closes. I have never ever seen this error before in my life and there is no solution on the internet.
