Newcomer Question please

I have the "free version" of CCleaner on my PC. I am attempting to "uncheck" Enable Active Monitoring when I go into the monitoring section. I click on it and the check mark does not go away. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Have you managed to untick 'Enable System Monitoring' at the top, or does that not untick either?

What operating system do you have?

Are you using build 5.16 of ccleaner?

Thanks for the reply. I have Windows 7 Premium. CCleaner I have is 5.16 version. I just went back into CCleaner and unchecked the top box for monitoring and it did uncheck the top box and also when I clicked on the bottom box it did uncheck it as well. By doing that you can't only uncheck the bottom one unless the top box is unchecked as well. Hope this makes sense. Is it advisable to leave both boxes checked at all times? One other question--should I be upgrading to the pro version of CCleaner?

Monitoring is up to the individual...some use it, some don't :)

As for if you need to upgrade to the Pro version, that depends on if you feel you would like the monitoring that is offers plus the autoupdating to new builds.

By the way, welcome to the forums dougbthom :)

Thank you for the welcome and your help.
