I also use EasyCleaner's registry cleaner and it hasn't ever broke my Win98 or WinXP Pro system. I have however set it to ignore two entries:

Cyberscrub and eraser over write files, when deleting, many numbers of time to ensure that they are erased beyond recovery. Although I dont think they over write them to recommended standards as some other "shredder" type programs do.
I have not used cyberscrub but Eraser does everything it is supposed to; at least as well as any other program. And it is free. You can select it to overwrite any file or free space as many times as you want: 200 times or more (including the standard DOD wipes) if you are bored. It is not ment for cleaning your harddrive.
I've used it for years. I must admit though it would be much safer for novice PC users if Toni would remove the duplicate files finder, and made the add/remove button not list things that can break Windows.
