New version update install fails every time

… And I end up having to reinstall manually. This results in losing all prior preference settings.

My registration code is aging and I'm concerned that soon I won't be able to get updates at all.

I'm running Windows 10, Malwarebytes, and McAfee.

I disabled the Malwarebytes Ransomware protection function and the update install occurred without incident.

I guess I should have read further before posting.
