any plans to implement a easier update to ccleaner?
without having the need to open a browser and download a file?
i don't always want to open the browser before using ccleaner on power on
because a) i dont always plan on opening it

ocd regarding files created by opening the browser and having cclenaar not clean the newly created files upon browser-closing and ccleaner-running
hope to see an easier, more 21st century way of updating

The answer to your query is CCleaner Professional, which updates without the need to go online.
Unless the devs have a sudden generous change of mind and add this feature to the free version, then I'm afraid it's the browser road you'll have to keep taking.
