Open Office has released beta 2 for openoffice 2.0.

do you know where i can get a changelog?

oh and also i'll only test this because all of the features that it gives are useless to me such as Exel and Databases because i have VB to access them :)

Their isn't a change log yet. They just released it a few hours ago.

Would you recommend using the latest beta over the last stable version?

I am still on version 1.1.4.

It is deffinately better than 1.1.4. It opens faster, has a much closer interface to ms office, and supposedly has better integration with office(Something I never had a problem with before anyway.)

Just finished downloading, I will install it then.

I was surprised how much better it was. I hope you like it as much as I did.

Installed it, just need to play with it.

Be careful, or you will go blind....

Who said that? I can't see...........

Funnily enough, my wife said I would go blind yesterday, when she kept catching me looking at other women in a shopping centre.

I'm having problems:

Help please!

What program are you using to unzip the file?

Just the plain old built-in Windowds decomprees utility, why is there a better freeware decompress utility around?

Since you cant even extract the files I think you should try a seperate program. Try this one:

Thats right, for whatever reason thats the name they gave the beta versions. (1.9....)I saw that you were using 1.1.1 believe me you will be able to tell its the new 2.0. :)

Cheers.
