RE: v 7.0.984.0 (new) same scan/PC takes 6 to 8 times longer to scan. Last week it was zippy as usual, new update, I wait and wait and wait.
P.S. liked the previous bar status better. The new one goes to 90% immediately and then just spins for the longest time.
It’s gotta be a bug or something.

Yeah, I can run to the restroom and come back and it’s still scanning. Now acting like MSoft, changing things that we don’t need changed.
I can’t use it all, anymore. It finally got up to 91%
I can’t use it at all, anymore. It took about 15 minuets to get to 91% and now it has been stuck at 91% for about 15 minuets.
I have posted this on other replies too. Sorry for the repeat, but wanted to make sure that management sees our replies.

I have purchased a subscription for CCleaner Version 6. Then Version 7.0 was forced upon us. I do not like to complain, but CCleaner Version 7.0 should have never been released. The App is very User unfriendly and does not have a smooth program flow anymore like Version 6 had. I understand that upgrades for Apps are a necessity, but Version 7.0 is a very terrible upgrade. Nothing really works smoothly anymore, the App hangs at times and does not do a reliable job of keeping the computer automatically clean anymore when Windows starts. It is always in your face when having to run it manually at Windows startup. Cookie- and registry management have become terrible too which were the real highlight of Version 6. It almost seems like that people did not know what they were doing during the development of Version 7.0. Where was technical oversight from management in the development of Version 7.0 to make it an outstanding improvement instead of it falling off the cliff backwards? I’m so disappointed. I wish that Version 7.1 or 7.2 will be an improvement of Version 6. Please do completely away with this awkward Version 7.0, bring back Version 6 for the time being and start over. I develop databases, have a high end computer, W11 and have used CCleaner for two decades- until now. Thank you

Same here. Run time is awful after being spoiled by Version 6. I also prefer the layout of the older version and I want to roll back and use the older version but the program keeps replacing it with version 7.
