Need to reinstall CC cleaner, but can't because it won't let me uninstall

I just bought a brand new computer. one of the very first things I did on my computer was install CC cleaner. I think it wasn’t a clean install because i tried to move it to my D drive instead of C drive or something of this sort.

Anyways, it doesn’t load because it says I have to find it, and there is nothing in the CCleaner folder. So i want to uninstall it; however, it says I need to be administrator.

Now, I did several things, including a command prompt in order to insure I was the administrator and this did not fix the issue. So now it is just a non functional application that won’t let me use it, nor uninstall it to repair it.

Hello, you can definitely uninstall CCleaner, but if it is not a clean installation you must have administrator account problems that prevent you from uninstalling it, also if you change the program drive it is normal that your computer cannot find CCleaner because the path is no longer the same. The easiest way to start again on the right foot would be to download Windows Media Creation Tool and reinstall Windows properly, so no more account problems.

I am the administrator though

“something of this sort” ??
Do you mean that you used the Advanced Install rather than just letting it do a Standard install?
Or do you mean that you moved the files (or tried to) after the install?

Have you tried opening File Explorer and searching D: drive for anything called CCleaner?

If it’s been installed on D: then that will tell you where on D: it is.
If the search doesn’t find anything on D: called CCleaner then it’s not installed on D:.

As for if you are using an admin account or not.
Open Windows settings and go to Accounts, it tells you there what kind of account you are using and if it’s an admin account.
eg. This is ‘Lenny’ the Administrator local account that I made for my Lenovo laptop.
