Not sure if anyone can help but I'll try. I was trying to open files on USB drive and all of a sudden it says files corrupt and now it is saying USB RAW and asks if I want to format drive. I've been told I should do a quick format of the USB and then use Recuva to recover files. I'm a little reluctant to try this fearing I will lose data . Any suggestions on recovering these files?? I'm not familiar with recuva and when I test it on my C drive it seems to freeze at 18% and I see lines or screens of emalware. All my problems began when I had Bitdefender installed, but this just might be coincidence.
