So, my PC goes straight into bios after I got BSODed while using CCleaner to update som software. Is this even fixable? there are no options to even boot from.
Sounds bad, failed updates aren’t usually that disastrous to cause a BSOD.
What software was it that you were trying to update? (It wasn’t the Windows Cumulative Update Preview was it?).
And what Windows version is it?
If you are getting to BIOS/UEFI then there will be options, (even if it means a reinstall of Windows, hopefully keeping your existing files).
I’d suggest getting help from the BSOD help section on BleepingComputer forum.
There are some good, knowledgeable, helpers there who should get you up and running again.
Although at least one regular user will chide you for using CCleaner at all. (He seems to have a grudge against it. Which may be understandable if he has suffered similar in the past).
To be able to give the best help they will want to know details of your computer, eg, Make and model if it’s a standard manufacture, or if it’s a custom build more details of the motherboard, cpu, etc.
