msi files not installing

Hi everyone!

I have a problem with installing msi files which is supposedly caused by ccleaner.

I'd like to know if someone else had this problem and found a solution without registry restore or complete windows reinstall.

Whenever I run an msi file simply nothing happens. I have windows7 on 64 bits.

I frequently clean the registry with ccleaner and forums suggested that it might delete necessery registry entries.

Have you run the Microsoft fix-it or manually tried manually re-registering the installer service or checked the service is still running?
