Hi all, I've been using defraggler pro quite a bit but I can't find a way to optimise my external hard drive in the way I'd like, can anyone help please?
Basically I have 2 requirements: large files that do not get edited (archive backups, videos, etc...) I wish to be placed at the end of the drive. Installed games/apps that require frequent and rapid access I wish to be placed at the beginning of the drive - I will periodically defrag these folders to optimise them.
I considered running a full defrag with the option "move large files to end of drive" enabled, setting threshold size to 0MB, then listing only the folders that I want at the end of the drive. But would this work as intended? Moving everything I list to the end, and everything else to the beginning?
