It would be nice if one could highlight a segment (several blocks) in the drive map and drag them to a different location. This way it would be possible to free the last part of the disk, or to create a continuous free space.
Have you tried defragging your free space (Action->Advanced->Defrag Freespace)? Or a whole drive defrag?
