Just a simple twist on the already present action. Sometimes I have a few files scattered but I don't want them to move to the bottom, but to the first large enough gap. And besides these files the drive is pretty well so a defrag is not needed. I think it would be trivial to implement.
this would have to be one of the most requested suggestions.
I'm surprised it hasn't got some sort of traction with the Dev Team.
it would be nice if someone-in-the-know could put this suggestion to bed with either It's not something DF will ever do or It's on the short list of future enhancements.
