After running the CCleaner on Windows 2000 PC I lost all my files in my documents Folder + my Favorites
And any other files on my desktop.
This is the first time I use the program, other accounts on the same computer do not appear to be affected by the program.
How Can I get my work back ? can you Help me please !!!!!

No I just run the program I didn't change any settings.
Started with Analyze then Run Cleaner and everything was gone.
I never thought I will need abackup.
the strange thing that the files disappered immediately with no trace it dosent
look like it was deleted more like changed path or something.
Can you help ?
I have no ideal why the contents of your My Documents and Favorites folder would be deleted - if they were in the correct default locations.
If the My Documents folder can't be accessed it could mean the .dll that allows it to work needs to be registered again, here's how:
regsvr32.exe "input the path to mydocs.dll"
Example: It could look like this:
regsvr32.exe "%windir%\system32\mydocs.dll"

You probably already tried this but, just in case it's just the desktop shortcuts that are messed up, try using Windows Explorer > Search to search the whole drive for one of the files that you "lost".
