Recuva v1.155.133
The error is repeatable, which is how I got the screenshots below.
I was doing a recovery today (from a USB stick) and minimised Recuva to the taskbar while it recovered the files and I worked on something else.
I used the minimise in the progress window, which minimises both that and the main window.
When the recovery had finished I found that clicking the taskbar icon would not reopen Recuva.
Hovering on the icon showed a thumbnail of the main window.
Hovering on that thumbnail showed the Recuva window, but as soon as I moved off the thumbnail the window closed again.
In the end, after checking that files had been recovered to the target folder, I had to End Task to close Recuva.
Further testing:
I have reopened Recuva and tried minimise/restore when no scan/recovery is running and it works as normal.
Trying again I can minimise and reopen as long as the recovery is still running and the progress window is still open and it’s thumbnail showing.
However if you let the recovery finish with the windows still minimised then the progress window closes, it’s thumbnail disappears, and you then cannot reopen the main window.
