Microsoft Office Picture Manager

First of all, very nice tool, but...

in Microsoft Office Picture Manager there's a "feature" that stores recently browsed pictures (in "Picture Shortcuts"). Isn't it possible to clear these references with CCleaner? Would be very nice :)

Thanks in advance.

This is still a problem in v1.36.430.

To remove latent thumbnails and Recently Browsed list, the solution is as simple as emptying "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\OIS"

Please add this simple feature.

Welcome to the CCleaner Forums Yoga Man! :)

The ability to do that already exists, here's how:

  1. Enable the view of hidden files and folders via Folder Options in the Control Panel. You'll have to set this back to the default setting once finished.
  2. Run CCleaner and click: Options->Custom->Add Folder

then browse to that folder you want emptied.

  3. Now still in CCleaner click the large Cleaner button, and under Advanced tick the following: Custom Files and Folders.

    Done!
