The new Microsoft Antispyware creates a file, called "errors.log". This file has grown on some of our systems to more the 2GB!!!. Its a good thing to delete that file, as an option in CCleaner.

Here you go m8, browse to the folder in which you installed CCleaner open a file called winapp2.ini browse to the bottom and simply paste the below code. If you have any other question about how to do it just ask. I will more then likely make additions to it as I find more rubbish the app creates.
[Microsoft AntiSpyware]
LangSecRef=3024
Detect=HKCU\Software\GIANTCompany\AntiSpyware
Default=True
FileKey1=%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft AntiSpyware|errors.log
Me and TheWhistlingCricket were talking about this last night and I didn't want to mess with MS AntiSpyware for just 1 file. But, since it is requested...
I also found more Windows cleaning (referring to .Net) but I will have to do some research on it before I add it. I am unsure on a few things.
Looking in my Giant AntiSpyware folder, I found 3 log type files: 'errors', 'cleaner' and 'tracksEraser'
can you provide proof by any chance?
A screenie do? or I could send you the trial version of Giant AntiSpyware...
I just need proof that them files are real is all...
I've attached the log files from folder: C:\Program Files\GIANT Comapny Software\GIANT AntiSpyware
Nice1, cheers
I updated it abit. You can't type.
C:\Program Files\GIANT Comapny Software\GIANT AntiSpyware
Comapny?
If I add it to winapp.ini will it have a checkbox on the CCleaner Applications tab?
Yea, or just download winapp2.ini
Just that winapp2.ini doesn't add it to the app list.
Sure it does, it also overrides any entry in winapp.ini.
No wonder it wasn't displaying, you had c&p'd my typo, 'Comapny'
Yea, that's why I said I updated it abit.
Hi
Thanks for the update.
I have two XPs and I installed identical CCleaner on both but one XP detects Ad-Aware SE Personal the other doesn't (although ad-aware is installed on both)
Any clue. Thanks
I feel like a father, I posted the first below code as WolfiKo requested I come back 24 hours later and look how big it has grown .
