We all know that there are people who complain whenever any application receives a major update/change.
This is not like that. Own it. Respond to the problem.
You didn’t just issue an update that torked off some people - you completely reconstituted a product that was mature, useful, and popular. I find it impossible believe that version 7 has improved sales.
