I recently had some issues with spyware and such, I got that fixed but now I cant view some banners and things on some websites. I then downloaded fire fox and It told me to download macromedia which it did automatically for me. I just cant figure out how to enable it on the browser that I like to use which is MSN. Alteast I can use fire fox to fully see the websites but would like to use my old browser as well.
Could be an activex issue. click tools>internet options>security>custom and enable activex and see if that works.
Ok, I tried that. Enabled all activex controls. Still just get the little red x at the top left of where the image/banner is suppose to be.
A screenshot would help!
how do you do that?
The easiest way is go to: www.snapfiles.com, click freeware, and search for faststone capture. It is small and efficient.
is that the right link? Page cannot be displayed??
Make that www.snapfiles.com
To make a screenshot you don't need any additional software, the ability is built into Windows.
Here's how:
1. Whatever it is your talking about open the program get it to display that red X, and then press together: ALT+PrtScn
2. Open Microsoft Paint and then click: Edit, Paste
3. Save the image as a .png, .jpg, or .gif file with a filename of your choice.
4. Visit either of these free image hosting services: http://www.imageshack.us/, or http://xs.to/ and upload the image from your computer.
5. Once uploaded the free image hosting service will give you the forum code for posting into a reply. All you have to do is copy that code and paste it into a new post.
