Lost registration information on first use

I used CCleaner for the first time recently. I thought all I did was clean cookies and check the registry, but I lost registration information for one of the programs I use all the time. I have used Adobe Photo Album for a long time, and after running CCleaner, the registration information was wiped out by some mistake I must have made. The same thing happened with Adobe Photoshop Elements. I cured the problem with Elements by just reinstalling. I can't do that with Album because I lost the disk. I still have the original CD case with the serial number, but can't reinstall without the disk. Trying to find someone at the Adobe site to help is a nightmare. I thought I saved any pertinent information before running CCleaner, but don't know where to look. I also can't imagine what I did to lose that registration information because I didn't lose any other registration info on any other program. And since I've had this computer a long time, I have a lot of programs registered on my computer. Does anyone have any suggestions. I would be most appreciative for any suggestions or insights. :(:(:(

It shouldn't have touched that. When you ran the issues scanner did you make a backup when prompted? If so you could right click the backup and select merge to replace the reg entries it removed and see if that solves it.

If you have a current System Restore point that would probably be the easiest undo solution.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I'm not sure what I did to tell the truth. I'll check to see if I backed it up. If I didn't, do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks for you response. My system is really old, approx. 10 years and am running Windows 2000 still. Don't think that feature is available on 2000.

Do you know what CCleaner feature I would have used to erase the registrations for the Album program?

If all else fails, consider downloading Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition. It's the free replacement for the discontinued Adobe Photo Album.
