I have noticed that after running CCleaner, login information on some of my Internet sites, which is automatically generated, has been lost. I have to re-enter the needed information again. As I run cleaner at least once a week, this is becoming rather inconvenient. I cannot see anywhere in the options or settings to prevent this from happening. Does anyone have ideas, please?
Hi Kat, and welcome to the forums.
Login information is usually kept in cookies. Have a read here, and see if this solves the problem.

Post back if you still have a problem.

Thank you very much, Dennis. I hope that solves the problem. However, I had looked in Options/Cookies previously, and no cookies were displayed. Hmmm. They are now, so I'll see what happens next time I clean.
Hope so Kat, although I've just realized I missed one step out of that post I linked you to.
After logging on to the sites and then coming back to CCleaner, select "Analyze" to get the list of cookies up. Sorry about that, I've corrected that post, but you seem to have sussed it out.

More good luck than good planning, Dennis!
Thanks for your help.
